1. Use of Google User Data

Lectio uses Google OAuth authentication services to allow you to create and log into your account securely.

  • Data accessed: We only access your email address and public profile information (name, photo) provided by Google.
  • Data usage: This data is used exclusively to identify the user and personalize their experience within the Lectio application.
  • Storage: Your email address is stored securely in our database to manage your subscription and courses.
  • Sharing: We do not share any Google user data with third parties for advertising or commercial purposes.

Lectio's use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

2. Content Data (Audio and Text)

Lectio processes the audio files you upload to generate transcriptions and structured notes.

  • Audio files are sent ephemerally to our processing partners (OpenAI/Groq) via encrypted connections.
  • This data is not used by our partners to train their artificial intelligence models.

3. Retention and Deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account is active. You can request the full deletion of your personal data and courses at any time directly from your settings interface or by contacting us by email.
